AN AMERICAN IN PARIS to Celebrate 1st Anniversary on Broadway with 'Cake Boss' Treat

The Tony Award-winning hit musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS celebrates its first year on Broadway tonight, Tuesday, April 12. Since it opened on April 12, 2015 at the Palace Theatre, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS has played 416 regular performances and 29 previews and has been seen by over 650,000 people. Following the performance on April 12, the cast will be treated to a special anniversary cake provided by Carlo's Bakery.

The hit new Broadway musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will launch a digital lottery beginning Tuesday, January 26. A limited number of tickets will be available through the lottery which will open at 8:00am for matinees / 10:00am for evening performances and will remain open until 11am / 3pm when winners are drawn.

A popular and highly-anticipated FPAC tradition for more than 20 years, The Nutcracker brings international ballet stars, world-class musicians and 100 area dancers to one suburban stage. Special guest artists Dalay Parrondo and Bradley Schlagheck, Boston Ballet soloists, will dance the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Franklin's Nick Paone will reprise the role of Dr. Drosselmeyer. Delighting the imaginations of audiences of all ages, FPAC's magical journey of The Nutcracker will also feature a professional orchestra under the direction of Peter Cokkinias.

Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents a festive double-bill of holiday entertainment this December with back-to-back productions of the classic family favorite The Nutcracker and the new holiday musical Carol's Christmas. Performances of The Nutcracker are on Saturday, December 14, at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 15, at 2:00 p.m. Carol's Christmas premieres on Saturday, December 21, at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, December 22, at 2:00 p.m. All performances will take place at the Thomas D.
