New York City's premier development hub and acclaimed new work producer Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Renee Blinkwolt, Managing Director) presents the world premiere of Small Mouth Sounds, a new play by Bess Wohl, directed by OBIE Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), as part of its 2015 season. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated to run now through April 11 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). Official Opening Night is tonight, March 23.

Ars Nova has announced the lineup for Bridget Everett Gets F*cked by Ars Nova, a one-night-only blow-out concert celebrating everyone's favorite badass b*tch, alt-cabaret priestess and Ars Nova All Star, Bridget Everett. In addition to Everett herself, the benefit concert, directed by Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Rock Bottom), will feature tributes, roasts and send-up performances from Grammy and Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone and actor, comedian and Emmy-nominee Billy Eichner. Comedians, drag queens and entertainers aplenty round out the lineup, including Jim Andralis, DJ Jonjon Battles, Justin Vivian Bond, John Early, Cole Escola, Dan Finnerty, Murray Hill, Champagne Jerry, DJ Sammy Jo, Larry Krone, Erin Markey, Molly Pope, Marc Shaiman, Sweetie, The Tender Moments (Matt Ray, Mike Jackson, Carmine Covelli and Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz), Chris Tyler, Varsity Interpretive Dance Squad (VIDS); plus a few fun surprises.

New York's home for the Classics announces its inaugural exploration of what modern language brings to timeless stories. With 12 days of readings and discussions, The Pearl's Resident Acting Company and three contemporary playwrights will investigate the power of language, the fortitude of classic stories, and the tricky role of the adapter in tackling these often-told tales.

On Sunday, December 7, The Pearl Theatre Company will present a one night only benefit performance of holiday readings, radio plays, and music hosted by WNYC's Leonard Lopate at the theatre company's home on 42nd Street. The special event will include selections of stories from Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, O. Henry, and many more performed by Members of The Pearl's Resident Acting Company including Dominic Cuskern, Jolly Abraham, Dan Daily (currently starring in Major Barbara), Chris Mixon, Carol Schultz and Brad Heberlee. Performing alongside Mr. Lopate and the Company will be the musical duo of Gelber & Manning, providing early jazz standards from Old New York.

Richard Brinsley Sheridan's classic romantic romp, The Rivals, returns to The Pearl for the hilarious story of Lydia Languish who is... languishing. She can imagine nothing more romantic than eloping with the impoverished Captain Beverly. Little does she know that 'Beverly' is really Jack Absolute, a wealthy aristocrat who fears the truth of his identity isn't nearly romantic enough for Miss Languish's taste. How will he win her-from himself?

The Civilians final Let Me Ascertain You of the season, directed by Steven Cosson, explores unique and compelling stories of those who have battled for, celebrated and championed their sexual orientation and gender identity.

The Civilians (Steven Cosson, Artistic Director), the award-winning New York-based theater company known for projects investigating real life topics, presents Let Me Ascertain You: Occupy #S17 on September 17 at Joe's Pub. The cabaret will focus on the one-year anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, and will feature monologues and songs crafted from interviews with activists conducted by Civilians artists throughout the past year. The one-night-only performance in The Civilians' entertaining and thought-provoking style will illuminate many of the diverse individual voices behind these large-scale protests, examine how this dynamic call to action has evolved, and explore what its future holds.

PICT launches its 2012 season with the Pittsburgh premiere of Sarah Ruhl's Pulitzer finalist In the Next Room or the vibrator play.
