Marin Theatre Company announced today that, due to enthusiastic audience response, they will extend Topdog/Underdog by seven performances. Bay Area audiences now have the opportunity to experience the critically acclaimed revival of Suzan-Lori Parks's Pulitzer Prize-winning play through Sunday, October 28.

For the Landor Theatre, Theatrica Ltd presents HOT MIKADO, with book and lyrics adapted by David H. Bell, music adapted and arranged by Rob Bowman and based on 'The Mikado' by W.S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan. Landor's production will be directed by Robert McWhir, featuring choreography by Robbie O'Reilly, musical direction by Michael Webborn and lighting design by Richard Lambert.

On Sunday's episode of the ABC drama series REVENGE titled 'Confidence' - the Graysons are back in the spotlight and at the center of a media storm once again, while Emily's past continues to haunt her. After a successful first series earlier this year, The Curtain Up Show returns to London's arts radio station, Resonance 104.4fm, for a new 11 week run. Tim McArthur will be joined live in the studio at midday on Friday by Sam Buttery and Katie Kerr who are currently starring as Leigh Bowery and Big Sue in the Boy George musical, Taboo, at the Brixton Clubhouse. Tim will also be joined by Joshua Miles who is currently starring opposite Anthony Andrews in Bully Boy by Sandi Toksvig at the newly opened St. James Theatre.

As part of a Halloween double feature, The Country Playhouse presents Evil Dead: The Musical (book by George Reinblatt, music by Christopher Bond, Frank Cipolla, and Melissa Morris), for three weekends only, October 12 - 27, in our Black Box. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 pm, with a Sunday matinee on October 21 at 7:30 pm, plus a weeknight show on Thursday, October 18, at 7:30 pm. On double feature nights, Evil Dead: The Musical will run right after Frankenstein, playing on our Cerwinske main stage.

The World Premiere of Kinky Boots, the new musical brings together four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy® Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics). Directed and choreographed by Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Kinky Boots plays the Bank of America Theatre (18 West Monroe Street, Chicago, IL) beginning October 2 through November 4, 2012, in advance of a Broadway opening. Marin Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 Season with Suzan-Lori Parks's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Topdog/Underdog, which runs from tonight, September 27 to October 21.

The Lyceum Theatre Company, Scotland's largest producing theatre, collaborates with the National Theatre of Scotland for The Guid Sisters, from the original French Quèbecois Les Belles-Soeurs by Michel Tremblay, translated by Bill Findlay and Martin Bowman and directed by Serge Denoncourt. The show runs now through 13th October 2012 Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh. The Guid Sisters will transfer to the King's Theatre, Glasgow from 23-27 October 2012.
