Louisville's oldest nightclub will welcome one of the youngest musical groups ever to play there, when Jetset Getset takes the stage at the historic Phoenix Hill Tavern on January 17.

The January 2013 issue of GQ features a series highlighting the '8 breakout stars on TV's most addictive shows'. Among the stars were Smash's Leslie Odom Jr. and Mad Men's Ben Feldman, as well as Banshee's Antony Starr, Revolution's JD Pardo, The New Normal's Sterling Sulieman, Veep's Reid Scott, Teddy Sears from Masters of Sex, and Revenge's Josh Bowman. 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer) welcomes Athena Theatre with the world premiere of THE MAN UNDER, written by Paul Bomba and directed by Benjamin Kamine. THE MAN UNDER begins performances on Friday, January 25 for a limited engagement through Sunday, February 17. Press opening is Wednesday, January 30 at 7:30 PM. More than 110 local and national theater artists representing more than 45 San Diego theatrical productions will compete for the 2012 Craig Noel Awards, the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle announced today.

Riverside Theatre's Simply Amazing Season continues with the Broadway smash musical hit, Funny Girl. Nominated for eight Tony Awards including Best Musical Best Lead Actor and Actress and Best Original Score, the show was an immediate hit with audiences with an inspiring and beloved score including classic favorites 'Don't Rain on My Parade,' 'I'm the Greatest Star,' 'The Music That Makes Me Dance' and the iconic hit, 'People. Funny Girl performs on the Stark Stage from January 10 through 27, 2013 and is presented through the courtesy Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers.

Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas is a twisted new comedy by Brian Gianci, directed by John Dapolito and presented by Robert Nicotra and John Dapolito. It began performances on Sunday, November 25; opened on Monday, December 3 and will celebrate its final New York performance on Sunday, December 30 at 7:30 at the Theatre at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street). The Alley Theatre's production of Katori Hall's The Mountaintop, produced in association with Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in Washington D.C., will feature Bowman Wright as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Joaquina Kalukango as Camae. The director is Robert O'Hara. The Mountaintop runs on the Alley Theatre's Hubbard Stage January 11 through February 3, 2013.

Courtney Balan is set to star as Fanny Brice in Riverside Theatre's FUNNY GIRL, which will play the Stark Stage in Vero Beach, FL, Jan. 10-27, 2013. James Brennan directs and choregraphs the show.

Sideshow Theatre Company continues its 2012/13 season with the Chicago premiere of MARIA/STUART by Jason Grote, directed by Marti Lyons, playing March 30 - May 5, 2013 at Theater Wit, 1229 W. Belmont Ave. in Chicago.

According to the show's official website, the new musical Kinky Boots, from four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (book), Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Music & Lyrics), Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell (Director & Choreographer), will begin preview performances on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) on March 3 instead of the previously announced March 5. Opening night remains set for Thursday, April 4, 2013.
