Ars Nova has announced the line-up for its 10th Annual ANT Fest (June 5-29), four non-stop, throw-down weeks of live entertainment mayhem, featuring fresh material from the next wave of dynamic, indie-theater makers. All New Talent, all the time.

ATHENA THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the world premiere production of Tom Block's SUB-BASEMENT, directed by Hunter Bird. SUB-BASEMENT will play a limited engagement at IRT Theater (154 Christopher st. NYC #3B).

Every month Sachi Ezura and Halle Kiefer host a stand-up/storytelling show that asks performers, 'What, exactly, is your damage?' Comics ruminate on the middle school humiliations, dating embarrassments and family drama that haunt them to this day, and that make them the weird, wonderful people they are today.

ATHENA THEATRE COMPANY is pleased to announce the world premiere production of Tom Block's SUB-BASEMENT, directed by Hunter Bird. SUB-BASEMENT will play a limited engagement at IRT Theater (154 Christopher st. NYC #3B). Performances begin Friday, March 24 and continue through Saturday, April 15. Opening Night is Monday, March 27 (7 p.m.).  Critics are invited on Friday, March 24 at 8 p.m., Saturday, March 25 at 8 p.m., Sunday, March 26 at 3 p.m., and Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. (and any subsequent performance). 

Thank You For Coming Out presents Pride Night at the Magnet Theater on Monday, June 20, 2016, at 254 West 29th Street, Ground Floor, NYC. Tickets are available to reserve at www.magnettheater.com. Tickets are $7 for each hour, and 100 percent of the ticket proceeds from the entire evening are being donated by the Magnet Theater to I'm From Driftwood (https://imfromdriftwood.com).

The Annoyance Theatre NY has announced that it will open Dark Down Deep Down Dark: The Chilean Miner Experience with an all-Latino cast of Alise Morales (IFC, UCB), Will Martinez (UCB), Juan Nicolon (UCB, Flama), Taylor Gonzalez (DEADA$$), Michael Hernandez (My Privacy), and Milly Tamarez (UCB). Directed by Bowen Yang (Broad City, The Outs), and created by Rollie Williams (MTV, Annoyance). The show will have weekly Saturday night performances in June beginning June 4th, 2016.

On the outside it's a typical high school with science fairs, basketball games, and homecoming dances, but below the surface it's filled with secrets, betrayal, and most importantly DRAMA. Every week's show is a brand new episode, in which best friends Troy and Leslie navigate the fraught hallways of their school.

Thank You For Coming Out is a fabulously funny improv show that features two different coming out stories each followed by an improv set (one musical). The stories you hear and the scenes you see are heartfelt, sometimes heart-wrenching, vulnerable, hilarious, fun, loving and supportive. We have a rotating cast of LGBTQ improvisers of all levels from all over New York City! Our actors range from newbies to Broadway sensations!

There are a lot of hammers and nails at work in DSI Comedy Theater's new home. Beginning today, May 1, DSI Comedy Theater will be running classes and shows in its new space at 462 W. Franklin Street. DSI Comedy Theater staff and local contractors have been hard at work putting the finishing touches on the new space. The new space will kick off with a stellar weekend of performances welcoming New York City based musical sketch comedy sensations, Pop Roulette, Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 at 8:30 p.m.
