Aurora Theatre will present the Swing Night at Aurora Theatre Valentine's Day Concert today at 8:30 PM. This special edition of the popular concert series will feature the Metro Jazz Club, a smokin'-hot 17 piece band performing an array of songs designed to get couples swinging with their sweetie this Valentine's Day.

Tom Wopat and Will Chase have joined the previously announced Laura Osnes in the New York City Center Encores! production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pipe Dream, running March 28 - April 1. Pipe Dream will be directed by Marc Bruni with music direction by Rob Berman and choreography by Kelli Barclay, and will play for seven performances at New York City Center, West 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues.

The University of Texas Department of Theatre and Dance at Austin presents UTNT (UT New Theatre), February 16-26 at the Oscar G. Brockett Theatre and Lab Theatre. This annual showcase presents new plays from the M.F.A. Playwriting Program. Tickets for UTNT productions are $10 per performance and may be purchased at the F. Loren Winship Drama Building Box Office beginning 90 minutes prior to curtain.

BroadwayWorld.com has learned details about a recent reading of the Guthrie Theatre's upcoming production of ROMAN HOLIDAY in Minneapolis. Starring in the reading, directed by John Miller-Stephany were Laura Osnes as Princess Ann and John Behlmann as Joe Bradley. They rest of the reading cast featured many of the area's top local talent. We're told that the reading went quite well, and that the song choices, which of course include some of Porter's biggest hits like 'Easy to Love,' 'Begin the Beguine,' 'Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye' and 'Riding High' also included many rarely heard gems that 'fit perfectly into the story.' Also in attendance for the staged reading were book writer Paul Blake and other members of the creative team.

Laura Osnes has been cast as Suzy in the New York City Center Encores! production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Pipe Dream running March 28 - April 1. Today I write a love letter to Bonnie & Clyde. I don't generally use this space to for theatrical reviews, which are meant to guide readers toward the shows they must see. But Bonnie & Clyde closed this week, which means my thoughts won't - can't - influence anyone in regard to buying tickets. So let's consider this not a review, but a love letter to a show I absolutely adore… which I feel was never given a chance.

Previously announced stars Laura Osnes (2011 Drama Desk nominee, Anything Goes) and Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, West Side Story) will be joined on stage by Melissa van der Schyff (Big River) as Blanche Barrow, Claybourne Elder (Road Show) as Buck Barrow, Joe Hart (The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public) as Sheriff Schmid and Louis Hobson (Next to Normal) as Ted Hinton.
