Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this November with a full slate of nightly performances! 

The Carlyle is one of the most famous hotels in the world.  It is known for hosting some of the most important people on the planet. Kings, Queens, Presidents, and various celebrities have “slept there” Currently this landmark on Madison Avenue is the residence of another Ambassador.  An Ambassador of the Great American Songbook.  Michael Feinstein will be on the intimate stage of the 88 seat night club through October 22 and again in December and on New Years Eve. 

Birdland Theater will present Nashville vocalist Wendy Moten – best known for her 2021 run on NBC’s “The Voice” – in an exclusive six-show concert engagement from Friday, November 18 to Sunday, November 20 with performances at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM each night.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present vocalist Christian Holder in his new show “Dreams and Inspiration” – featuring a special appearance by Donna McKechnie – on Monday, November 7 at 8:30 PM.

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Brandon James Gwinn in Four Pianos on Thursday November 3rd at 9:30pm. Richard Rodgers Award winner and celebrated nightlife pianist Brandon James Gwinn (he/they), flanked by an expanded version of their T-shirt Tuxedo Trio, brings an evening of music to Broadway’s Supper Club tributing four of his favorite singing pianists: Blossom Dearie, Frances Faye, Diana Krall, and the fabulous Bobby Short.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present singers Stacy Sullivan and Todd Murray in the new show “I’m Glad There Is You – The Musical Romance of Frank Sinatra and Peggy Lee” on Monday, October 31 at 8:30 PM.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross in a special new show “Autumn Serenades” on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. Ross will sing a few mellow seasonal ballads, including “September in the Rain,” “Autumn Leaves,” “September Song,” and “When October Goes.”

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present a special musical evening with three great musical talents Victoria Shaw, Jim Brickman, and Peter Cincotti, in “Three Friends, One Piano” on Monday, October 10 at 7:00 PM.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Julie Halston – the brilliant Tony Award-winning comedic actress – on Monday, October 17 at 7:00 PM. Ms. Halston returns to the Birdland stage – live and in person – after two-and-a-half years of global pandemic Zoom meetings and green screens.

BIRDLAND THEATER will present the return of Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf – the acclaimed cellist celebrating her recent album Music of Broadway for Cello and Piano – on Monday, September 19 at 8:30 PM.

Birdland Jazz Club will present a special evening with renowned pianist and singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli on Monday, September 19 at 7:00 PM.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Bobby Conte – currently playing the role of PJ in the Broadway revival of Company – in his acclaimed solo concert “Along the Way” on Monday, August 15 at 7:00 PM.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present the return of Karen Mason – honoring her three-decade collaboration with music director Christopher Denny in the new show “30… And Counting” – on Monday, August 8 at 7:00 PM.

Michael Feinstein will perform a series of shows this fall to launch a new partnership with Café Carlyle. Feinstein will perform at the venue October 11th through 22nd. This new partnership also marks the end of Feinstein's partnership with 54 Below.

Tuesday June 28th, 2022, marks the 120th Anniversary of the birth of legendary Broadway composer Richard Rodgers, Rob Morrison's Musical Theatre Melodies will commemorate the occasion with the broadcast and streaming premiere of the Museum of the City of New York's A CELEBRATION OF RICHARD RODGERS, recorded live at The Imperial Theatre, New York City, on March 26th, 1972.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Tony Award winner Linda Lavin in a special concert celebrating her most recent solo album, Love Notes, on Monday, June 27 at 7:00 PM. Ms. Lavin will be joined on stage (as on the album) by her longtime collaborator, pianist and singer Billy Stritch.
