According to the Hollywood Reporter, Philip Seymour Hoffman is in the process of developing a new series for HBO. Entitled, 'Upstate, the show is about 'Roy Perkins, who gets laid-off and then relocates his family to rural America to take a job as a correctional officer in a new privately run for-profit prison,' as described by THR.

Drama Desk Award winner Santino Fontana (The Importance of Being Earnest, Billy Elliot, Brighton Beach Memoirs) plays Joseph, a former runner now dealing with health issues and the recent death of his father. Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards winner Joanna Gleason (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Joe Egg, Into the Woods) plays Gloria, a formerly successful New York editor who is now Joseph's employer in Nazareth, PA.
Peter DuBois will direct the British premiere of Gina Gionfriddo's Becky Shaw, from 13 January and running until 5 March, with press night on 20 January 2011.
