Hammer Theatre Center will kick off summer with its new Sunset Series, inviting Bay Area audiences to enjoy rooftop performances by musical headliners on The Hammer Terrace.

The Palace Theater is throwing its doors wide open to the public beginning October 1, to begin its 100th Anniversary Season and what a celebratory schedule of shows is planned! 

The shows are presented thanks to a partnership between MV Concert Series and The Loft. The Loft will undergo a six-figure renovation of the sound and lighting systems funded by the Martha’s Vineyard Concert Series, bringing a theatre experience to one of Oak Bluffs’ best hangouts. Sound engineers will map out the room and create a system specifically designed to bring professional concerts to the Loft. While much of the interior will look the same, the venue will have a new professional sound that transforms the entire experience.

The Wick Theatre has been keeping audiences entertained for months now with their dynamic Supper Club Cabarets, which take place in the grand lobby, but now the time has come to open the doors to the main theatre! Legendary Jazz & Blues Singer, Barbara Morrison, will present The 3rd Annual California Jazz & Blues Museum Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Concert Fundraiser as a Viral Facebook Streaming Event from The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center.

Thursday evening Jerry Lee Lewis was one of five legends inducted into The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) Hall of Fame. Although Lewis was unable to attend the ceremony hosted by Marty Stuart, Jerry Lee Lewis III accepted the award on his behalf with his father's sister, Linda Gail Lewis, who performed her brother's major hits “Great Balls of Fire” and “Whole Lotta Shakin.'”

Two Bird Stone is a dynamic new band founded by singer/songwriter Liam Thomas Bailey and featuring some of Nashville's and New York's finest musicians. The band formed in 2019 and will release their debut album, Hands & Knees, on September 11th via Soundly Music.
