SCIENCE today announced that the network has acquired the off-network syndication rights to FRINGE, the acclaimed dramatic series from creators J.J. Abrams (Lost, the Star Trek and Mission: Impossible movies), Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Transformers) and Roberto Orci (Star Trek, Transformers), and executive producers Jeff Pinkner (Alias, Lost), J.H. Wyman (The Mexican, Keen Eddie) and Bryan Burk (Lost, Alias, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol). The agreement with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution grants the network the rights to the four existing seasons of the series as well as the upcoming fifth season which debuts on FOX this fall (Fridays 9/8c), as well as behind-the-scenes features and unseen bonus footage. FRINGE will begin airing on SCIENCE in the fourth quarter of 2012.

But as a storm grows ever closer, the men are forced to come to terms with each other and their long-guarded secrets. Carbonell Award-winning director Richard Jay Simon will stage this exciting new play with a creative team that includes resident set designer Douglas Grinn, lighting designer John Hall, sound designer Matt Corey (2011 Carbonell Award Winner), resident costume designer K. Sanchez, running March 23 - April 8, 2012 stars Florida International University Alumnus Evelyn Perez, New World School of the Arts & Barry University Professor Scott Douglas Wilson, retired City of Miami police Lt. Bill Schwartz, University Center for the Performing Arts Director of Dance Barbara Sloan, and acting apprentice and student of Coral Reef Senior High Javier "Javi" Cabrera. In this relevant and funny play, two long-time friends and neighbors, portrayed by Ms. Perez and Ms. Sloan, are at war over 15 feet of green grass on waterfront property.
New Theatre is offering its "25 under 25 Free Student Tickets" program once again for the opening weekend of Property Line. From March 23-25, 2012 the first 25 students (under 25, with a valid student ID) to come to the box office, a half hour before curtain get in free. Students who come after the free tickets are gone can still get $5 off the regular student ticket price by purchasing a ticket for $10. This promotion is only valid for opening weekend and is subject to availability. The playwright, Juan C. Sanchez, will be in attendance on opening weekend and, as an added bonus, students will be able to meet him and participate in the post play discussion after the Sunday matinee performance.

Known for her many memorable roles on stages and screens large and small, many from the canon of William Shakespeare (OTHELLO, MACBETH) and Edward Albee (THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE, SEASCAPE, WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? & LISTENING), Maureen Anderman is making her grand return to the realm of Shakespeare onstage in New York with the new BAM production of RICHARD III directed by Sam Mendes, starring Kevin Spacey. In addition to illustrating many aspects of the rapturously received revival of the historical tragedy as she has traveled with it around the world, Anderman and I also discuss her affiliation with Shakespeare and what she derives from performing his greatest works, with RICHARD III being the central focus. Also, Anderman details her experiences working with Edward Albee on the original Broadway productions of THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE and SEASCAPE, as well as offering some candid observations on some of her favorite feature film and television appearances over the years - THE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF MOLLY DODD and LAW & ORDER included. As well as all of that, Anderman also shines a light on her recent standby duties for Vanessa Redgrave in THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING and DRIVING MISS DAISY, as well as the forthcoming Westport Country Playhouse production of MAGICAL THINKING in which she will be starring later this year.
