The Cutting Room will once again host MOTOWN THE MUSICAL's three-time Grammy Award nominated Ryan Shaw on Monday, April 21 at 8:30pm. Doors open at 8:00pm. The Tony Award nominated Brandon Victor Dixon and Epic Recording Artist Morgan James will join Ryan as special guests.

International Steinway Artist Jim McDonough and his orchestra are currently touring Iowa with his "2014 SPRING TOUR." McDonough has sold a quarter- million CDs, and has performed breathtaking concerts for tens of thousands of Iowans.

Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces Spun. Opening tonight, April 17, 2014 in the Livia and Steve Russell Theatre at the Phoenix, this show runs through May 11, 2014 and will be directed by Bloomington Playwrights Project Producing Artistic Director Chad Rabinovitz.

Amas Musical Theatre and The Amas Musical Theatre Lab will present free staged readings of "Cookin! - A Taste of Things to Come," a new musical by Debra Barsha and Hollye Levin, with musical direction by Gillian Berkowitz. Directed by Tony Award nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett (Swing!), the readings will be held on Monday, May 12th at 1pm & 4pm and Tuesday, May 13th at 4pm at St. Luke's Theatre.

Nick Ziobro, the 17 year-old pop/jazz vocal sensation, will release his debut album A Lot of Livin' to Do on Tuesday, May 20. The new disc, produced by Michael Feinstein - the two-time Emmy and five-time Grammy Award-nominated vocalist, pianist and musicologist - and available through Titanium Entertainment, will be available in stores and digital outlets such as iTunes and Amazon.com. To conclude their 142nd season, The Apollo Chorus celebrates the Fab Four's 50th anniversary in America with their highly anticipated concert series The Beatles & Friends on Friday, May 2 at 8:00 p.m. at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 126 E. Chestnut Street; and again Sunday, May 4 at 3:00 p.m. at First United Church, 848 Lake Street in Oak Park. The 150-member choir is conducted by The Apollo Chorus Music Director Dr. Stephen Alltop.

As part of Autism Awareness Month, Cassandra Kubinski will launch her newest video 'Not So Different,' with a family friendly concert at St. John's Lutheran Church (81 Christopher St, NYC) on Sunday, April 6 at 6PM. Tickets are FREE but donations will be accepted for Autism related charities, this event's featured charity is Music For Autism (www.musicforautism.org). The evening will consist of a screening of 'Not So Different' and Q&A with the creators, followed by a short concert with singer/songwriter Cassandra Kibinski.
