In just over two weeks since she wowed crowds at Soulpepper's Global Cabaret, the great Jackie Richardson joins some of Canada's finest musical theatre talent to celebrate the ;music of Billy Joel and Elton John. Following last year's sold-out Sting concert, 'Uncovered: Billy Joel & Elton John,' this is Acting Up Stage Company's eighth annual concert dedicated to the musical catalogue of a pop star. And for the first time this year, the company has added a second concert to meet demand. The concert will take place Wednesday and Thursday Nov. 12th and 13th at Toronto's Koerner Hall in the Telus Centre for Performance and Learning, aka the Royal Conservatory of Music. Show time is 8 p.m.

?Donnie Kehr's Rockin' Dueling Pianos, a high energy, all request, rock 'n roll dueling pianos and sing along experience, will debut at 42West (514 W. 42nd Street) on November 14th at 8:00pm. Kehr will be joined by guest stars from Broadway, film and television, including Brad Alexander, Paul Leschen, and Matthew Friedman who will participate in singing the top requested songs of the evening. Additional performances will take place at 42West on November 21st, December 12th and December 19th.

This dramatic evening draws meaningful connections between soldiers and military personnel of our day with those of Shakespeare's works. It is written and performed by US military veteran Stephan Wolfert.

In an evening conceived and directed by Tony Award winner Scott Wittman, LuPone returns with Part Two of the show which she premiered to critical acclaim when 54 Below opened in June 2012.

The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) will present JOPLIN'S PEARL FEATURING AMBER FERRARI tonight, November 1st at 8:00 PM. Amber is a powerhouse and during the first half of her show she will perform the music of some of her favorite Artists like Jefferson Airplane, Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox and others along with her own original music! The second half of her show is dedicated to the greatest rocker of them all, the legendary Janis Joplin. When she steps out on stage dressed as Janis herself and begins to sing, audience members will feel as if they have stepped back in time. With complete command of their styles and with authenticity of the music, even the original artists would find Amber Ferrari and her powerful band a fine tribute to their legacy. Amber will be joined by special guest saxophonist, Billboard Recording Artist Richie Cannata, best known for playing with Billy Joel and The Beach Boys. Comedian/MC Ike Avelli will be opening the evening and a portion of the proceeds will benefit The Great South Bay Lions Club. Joe's Pub at The Public presents Largo, a night of song from the legendary concept album, tonight, October 30 at 7:00PM. Largo was produced and written in 1998 by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman, with co-writing by David Forman and Eric Bazilian. THE LAST SHIP - the new musical with music and lyrics by 16-time Grammy Award-winner Sting and book by Tony Award winner John Logan and Pulitzer Prize-winner Brian Yorkey opened last night, October 26. The Last Ship is directed by Tony Award winner Joe Mantello and choreographed by Olivier Award winner and Tony Award nominee Steven Hoggett.
