The Nashville Symphony today announced new members for its 2009/10 Board of Directors, including Tennessee Titans kicker Rob Bironas, whose Rob Bironas Fund is partnering with the Symphony to provide music education to the children of Nashville. The Board has also elected two new officers. Noted Nashville attorney James C. Gooch was elected as Chairman, while SunTrust Chairman, President and CEO Robert E. McNeilly III was chosen as Chairman-Elect, both for two-year terms effective immediately.
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey kicks off its 2009 Season with a world premiere stage adaptation of Around the World in Eighty Days. Adapted for the stage by Bonnie J. Monte from the beloved novel by Jules Verne, this inventive production is an exhilarating treat for people of all ages.
