The EverGreen Theatre Ensemble, an engagement theater company based in Naperville, will present a radio-style version of "Bill W. and Dr. Bob" by Dr. Samuel Shem and Dr. Janet Surrey, opening this Friday, Oct. 10 at the Center Stage Theater, 1665 Quincy Ave. Suite 143 in Naperville.
Tucked away in a cozy theatre, off of Martin Street, lives a small theatre company that opened its fifteenth season this past weekend. Encore Studio for the Performing Arts opened this new season with a series of retrospective shorts that looked back on some of the most powerful, thought provoking, or downright goofy pieces that the company has had to offer.
Trustus Theatre announced their 30th Anniversary season to a standing-room crowd at Tapps Arts Center on June 5th, 2014. Managing Director Larry Hembree and Artistic Director Dewey Scott-Wiley revealed the shows coming to the Thigpen Main Stage and Richard and Debbie Cohn Side Door Theatre in the 2014/2015 Season. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 52nd Season opens with The Tempest, Shakespeare's final great work. Performances begin May 28th and continue through June 22nd at the F.M.
