The friends include guitarist John Hart, trumpeter Marvin Stamm, drummer Matt Wilson and bassist Martin Wind. Beautifully recorded by Matt Balitsaris, and mastered by Michael MacDonald, this marks Bill's 38th recording as a leader.

Birdland, the most well known jazz music venue on the planet has been successfully chaperoned by his masterly artistic, restaurant, and business skills for over three decades. That is exactly double the amount of time the original Birdland on 52nd street existed. Entertainment and menu trends have metamorphosed many times over the last 32 years, but Birdland has consistently been the destination point for New Yorkers and world travelers seeking great music, performed by exceptional artists. For the past decade, the club has integrated the stars of the adjacent Broadway Theatre into it's performance schedule under the guidance of Jim Caruso.
The Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater Summer Concert Series returns with new faces (and some favorites), performing Latin, Cabaret, Classical, Big Band and more. Following the success of the previous two festivals, the 3rd Annual New York Hot Jazz Festival -- produced by the impresario Michael 'Misha' Katsobashvili, performer Bria Skonberg, and composer/producer Patrick Soluri (of Prohibition Productions and The Salon) -- returns to The Players this year and promises some of the biggest stars of the Hot Jazz and swing scenes in a summit of uptown and downtown talent spanning three generations.
Two of D.C.'s favorite jazz musicians, pianist John Eaton and bassist Tommy Cecil, will bring a 'cool' and refreshing summer concert, 'Jazz, Blues & Broadway' to The Alden for a single performance on Saturday, June 21, at 8 p.m. The duo will perform a variety of songs, while Eaton will accentuate the music with his trademark witty, astute commentary. Tickets are $27, $18 for McLean district residents. District residents can purchase tickets for $13 prior to May 21. The Alden is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue, inside the McLean Community Center.
Blue Note Jazz Club, the iconic Greenwich Village jazz and blues venue that offers live musical performances every night of the week, is proud to announce an impressive roster of acts this September.
