Proceeds from the Gala support A.C.T.'s acclaimed actor training and arts education programs. The historic Regency Center (1300 Van Ness Avenue) in San Francisco hosts the gala.

When Pioneer Theatre Company premiered Charles Morey's "Laughing Stock" in 2001, New York actor Craig Bockhorn was cast as one of the leads.
