A new musical stage adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s legendary novel The Great Gatsby is headed for the stage, with a new score from Grammy Award-nominated international rock star of Florence + the Machine Florence Welch and Grammy Award nominee Thomas Bartlett.

It is Bo's hard-learned lesson about romance and respect that keeps BUS STOP in the forefront as one of the great classic American romance stories. And thanks to the talented cast and director Ann Hearn Tobolowsky's attention to detail and effective use of freeze framing cast members while others speak, these well known characters will reach out and grab you by the heart, stirring your emotions as lessons are learned, partnerships are formed, and everyone gets exactly what they want by the time the road re-opens, especially a naive cowboy and a 19-year old hick singer from the Ozarks determined to make a better life for herself.

A LOSS OF ROSES is concluding its limited Off-Broadway engagement tomorrow evening, June 7th at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street (between Ninth & Tenth Ave.) Presented by The Peccadillo Theater Company, in association with La Femme Theatre Productions, the first NY revival of William Inge's A LOSS OF ROSES opened May 12th, 2014.

Saturday night, May 25th, the sold-out audience at the first NY revival of William Inge's A LOSS OF ROSES included Inge's grand-nephew, David Inge Kirchmaier. He enthusiastically greeted the entire cast onstage afterwards and posed for photos. Scroll down for a look!

This past Sunday, May 18th, the sold out audience at the first NY revival of William Inge's A LOSS OF ROSES included Inge's nephew, James A. Mahan, as well as Mahan's children and grandchildren. They joined the cast onstage afterwards for a full family & company portrait. On behalf of the family, James Mahan's daughter Sandra wrote the following to the production the next day: 'A heartfelt thank you for having us! We so enjoyed the play and meeting the cast. Clearly everyone involved with this production put much heartfelt energy into it. Your theater has such a very warm and inviting feel which we embraced!'

Performances begin May 8th (not May 7th as previously announced) at Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 West 46th Street, NYC, and continuing through June 7th, 2014. Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) presents the classic romantic comedy BUS STOP by William Inge, April 12-29, 2012. The production will be a collaborative venture with the University of Wisconsin - Parkside (UWP) theatre department with at least 25 students and faculty serving as actors, designers and production personnel. BUS STOP performs in the Broadway Theatre Center's Cabot Theatre in Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward.

The Boca Raton Theatre Guild announced the plays it has selected for its 2011-2012 season: Sarah Jones' Bridge and Tunnel, Charles Busch's Tales of the Allergist's Wife, the musical Sweet Charity, and Paulette Dozier in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill. They will all play at the Willow Theatre in Boca Raton's Sugar Sand Park.

Gateway Playhouse in Bellport remains and is so popular that local residents know better than to drive along South Country Road at certain hours lest they become entangled in traffic either entering or exiting the theater. The Gateway Playhouse is located on the site of the former Mott Estate on the eastern-most tip of Bellport , New York . Rumors are rife about the ghost of Lucretia Mott still haunting one of the buildings on the premises but she seems to be benign and hasn't caused any significant problems in the past few decades.
