Presenters for the 64th Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards were announced today. Those who will be taking the stage throughout the evening will include: Antonio Banderas, Justin Bartha, Cate Blanchett, Michael Douglas, Kelsey Grammer, Scarlett Johansson, Laura Linney, Lucy Liu, Lea Michele, Helen Mirren, Matthew Morrison, Chris Noth, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Tony Shalhoub, Liev Schreiber, Denzel Washington, Raquel Welch, among others.

Last night, May 24, MTC hosted thier annual Spring Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street. The organization honored MTC's Board Chairman Peter J. Solomon for his longtime leadership, as well as his generous support of and commitment to MTC. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the event.

According to her website, Bernadette Peters, who was most recently seen performing in New York in her sold out Broadway Barks benefit concert, will be playing at a variety of venues around the country for her upcoming tour, which kicks off next year. The two-time Tony winner will perform a wide variety of tunes from her vast theatre repertoire.

This week, two Tony award-winning Broadway stars paid a visit to one of Times Square's newest residents-King Tut. Bernadette Peters and Patti LuPone toured Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs, located in the center of the theater district at Discovery Times Square Exposition.

On Monday, May 3rd, Broadway legend Bernadette Peters hosted a performance and book signing for her latest publication, Stella is a Star. The event took place at Dylan's Candy Bar from 3-5PM. Guests also participated in a live raffle drawing for which the winner was awarded the chance to appear onstage with Bernadette Peters & Mary Tyler Moore at this year's Broadway Barks on Saturday, July 10th in Shubert Alley. Special guest David Hasselhoff was on hand and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event.
