Palo Alto Players, the Peninsula's first theatre company, announces its 89th season titled - "If You Knew My Story."

After a shaky start (sorry to all you folks who got bumped from the Wednesday performance) the 2017 Tony Award winner, "Dear Evan Hansen" is here at the Paramount. Now, I managed to catch this phenomenal show on Broadway when it was still in previews, so I got to see the original cast. The cast I'm sure all you fans of the show are familiar with from the cast recording from having listened to it over and over again. Well not to worry, as much as I loved the originals, this cast is just as sublime and not a carbon copy but putting in their own spin on this incredible story and characters.

iTheatrics Junior Theater Festival Atlanta (#JTF) was held January 18-20, 2019 at The Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.

Broadway Across Canada has unveiled their upcoming 2019-2020 Season.  Four theatrical productions take center stage at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium beginning next fall including the spectacular Broadway Musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN. 

Today, Hancock Whitney Broadway in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre announced its 2019 - 2020 season line-up of shows, headlined by the six-time Tony Award and 2018 Grammy Award-winning Best Musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN and also includes MEAN GIRLS; A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL; MISS SAIGON; Roald Dahl's CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY; ANASTASIA; and FIDDLER ON THE ROOF. The 2019-2020 season is presented by the New Orleans Theatre Association and will begin in the Fall. The new season represents a wide range of Tony Award winners and Broadway blockbusters for New Orleans audiences to enjoy.

2018 has given South Florida a fun cornucopia of live theatre, from the Southeastern premiere of Freaky Friday at Slow Burn to the national tour of Hamilton at the Broward Center. Since 2019 is already well underway, here is a look at what South Florida theatre has to offer this year.

In advance of the start of performances, the production announced today that it will host a digital ticket lottery offering fans the chance to purchase a limited number of $25 tickets available per performance.

A powerful, emotionally-riveting, dynamically-staged original stage musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN is a truly incredible, phenomenal show that I happily admit-in just a few years of its existence-has quickly become one of my favorite Broadway musicals of all time. KeyBank Broadway at the Paramount is thrilled to announce the winner of six 2017 Tony Awards Dear Evan Hansen will play The Paramount Theatre for a limited two-week engagement from January 23 February 2.

Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, welcomed The Greatest Showman's Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, Keala Settle and Greg Wells to healthcare facilities in New York and Los Angeles to perform for patients as part of the organization's The Greatest Showman Holiday Concert. Settle, who played 'The Bearded Lady' Lettie Lutz in the film, performed her show-stopping rendition of the Oscar-nominated song 'This Is Me' for patients at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital in L.A.

Speaker-designate Nancy Pelosi attended Dear Evan Hansen, at the Curran in San Francisco on Saturday, December 22. Following the performance, Leader Pelosi met with the cast.
