Renowned Japanese filmmaker Toshi Shioya is in New York this week to meet with teachers from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and discuss their new partnership with The Actors Clinic, a prominent acting school in Tokyo led by Shioya.

Taye Diggs, who began his rise to fame after starring in the original cast of RENT, is preparing for a solo show at Prelude by Barton G at Miami's Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.
