BWW TV sat down with the filmmakers to learn how the music and message of HAIR inspired them to create the passionate documentary.

Now going strong it's third, THE AFTER PARTY is billed as 'a weekly schmoozefest for the theatrically inclined.' Every Friday from 10:30 pm until the wee hours, pros from Broadway and aspiring stars alike belt it out on the stage of The Laurie Beechman Theatre. MAC and Bistro Award winner Brandon Cutrell's Feelin' Frosty (which just had its premiere at Feinstein's on December 1) will have an encore at the Laurie Beechman Theater on Friday, December 19 at 6pm. Tickets are $15 with a $15 food/drink minimum

Tonight Friday, December 12th, they welcome the cast of Prayer For My Enemy, including Tony Award winner Victoria Clark, Tony Award winner Michelle Pawk, Tony Award nominee Jonathan Groff, Skipp Sudduth, Theatre World Award winner Cassie Beck, and Zachary Booth. All will be in attendance and Jonathan Groff and Skip Sudduth will perform. The evening will also feature performances by former Bette Midler 'Harlette' and Hairspray's Charlotte Crossley and The Larry King Orchestra's LARRY KING. All will be on hand to greet fans.

Hottest new indie R&B artist and Broadway veteran Shoshana Bean is set to release her lead single 'Superhero' on November 25. Her hit track recently got picked up by NBC to be played during the Monday Night Lineup (Heroes, Chuck, and My Own Worst Enemy) as another one of her songs was prominently featured on MTV's 'The Hills.' Climbing charts and breaking records on iTunes, Bean is locked in to kick-off the Los Angeles Laker's home game on November 25 with the honor of singing the National Anthem.

The National Museum of Women in the Arts will present a Lifetime Achievement Award to Lynda Carter Friday, November 7 at NMWA's Annual Fall Benefit. At the event, Lynda will perform a variety of pop and Broadway hits from her current Cabaret show

Friday, October 24th, THE AFTER PARTY will welcome CBS' 'The Amazing Race' and The Fantasticks' NICK SPANGLER, The Fantasticks' LEWIS CLEALE, as well as the cast of LIKE YOU LIKE IT. The show will also feature special guest pianist STEVEN SILVERSTEIN.

Westport Country Playhouse's (Westport, CT) artistic director Anne Keefe issued the following statement in regards to the death of Paul Newman, who had been associated with the Playhouse since 2000, 'The Westport Country Playhouse board of trustees and staff are deeply saddened by the passing of Paul Newman, a compassionate humanitarian. Our hearts go out to Joanne Woodward and her family, who have shown extraordinary strength and spirit during this difficult time'.

The New York Pops led by Vincent Falcone and Eric Stern, celebrates its hometown on Friday, November 7, 2008 at 8 p.m. at Carnegie Hall in a program entitled 'A Love Letter to New York' featuring classic songs about New York City and the world premieres of original songs about the city by composer Kenneth Laub. Clint Holmes headlines the concert with special guests Ashley Brown, Laura Bell Bundy and Linda Hart. The program also includes songs by Stephen Sondheim and Cole Porter. Ms. Bundy, Ms. Hart, and Mr. Holmes will make their Carnegie Hall debuts.
