The box office at the Shubert Theatre (235 West 44th Street) opens on Monday, January 21 for Broadway's eagerly anticipated MATILDA THE MUSICAL. The show begins previews on March 4 ahead of an April 11, 2013 opening at the Shubert Theatre.

Tim Carroll's critically-acclaimed sell-out productions of Twelfth Night and Richard III, which recouped within a few weeks of opening in the West End, will complete their run at the Apollo Theatre on 10 February as scheduled. Mark Rylance, who plays Olivia in Twelfth Night and the title role of Richard III, is joined by Stephen Fry as Malvolio in Twelfth Night.

The Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers today announced the casting of the principal roles and the ensemble in the eagerly anticipated Broadway-bound musical MATILDA THE MUSICAL. They are (alphabetically): Karen Aldridge (Mrs. Phelps), Gabriel Ebert (Mr. Wormwood), Lesli Margherita (Mrs. Wormwood), and Lauren Ward (Miss Honey).

Richard III runs at the Apollo Theatre now through February 10, 2013. The full cast is Samuel Barnett (Queen Elizabeth), Liam Brennan (Clarence and the Lord Mayor), Paul Chahidi (Hastings and Tyrrell), John Paul Connolly (First Murderer and Ratcliff), Ian Drysdale (Scrivener/Rivers/Blunt), Peter Hamilton Dyer (Brakenbury and Catesby), Johnny Flynn (Lady Anne and Grey), James Garnon (Richmond and Duchess of York), Colin Hurley (King Edward IV and Stanley) and Roger Lloyd Pack (Duke of Buckingham), Mark Rylance (Richard III), Jethro Skinner (Second Murderer and Messenger) and Ben Thompson (Dorset and Bishop of Ely). Directed by Tim Carroll, this revival of the Globe's 2002 award-winning TWELFTH NIGHT is performed in an all-male Original Practices production, exploring clothing, music, dance and settings circa 1601. Check out production photos inside!
