CMT has given the green light to DOG (working title), a new unscripted series that showcases Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Chapman's journey into the American heartland to help fellow bail bondsmen and bounty hunters struggling with their business of catching fugitives on the lam. CMT has ordered ten, one-hour episodes of the series from Ben Silverman's multimedia entertainment studio Electus. Dog and Beth will star in and executive-produce the series which is set to begin production in early 2013 and will premiere Spring/Summer 2013 on CMT.

When these seasoned stage partners are convinced to reunite for a CBS television comedy special, hilarity ensues. The New York Times called The Sunshine Boys "an evening that keeps you laughing and then leaves you surprisingly moved." The production also features a special cameo from renowned improvisational comedian and Brave New Workshop founder Dudley Riggs as Sketch Patient.
