NBC's new adventure-reality series 'Get Out Alive with Bear Grylls' (working title) is launching a nine-city, cross-country search to find fearless teams of two. Casting producers are looking for confident and competitive duos who think they have the courage and determination to survive in the wild and vie for this unique opportunity to compete for the reward of a lifetime.

Suave Professionals is the official sponser of NBC's second season of the popular Fashion Star reality series. Fashion Star will premiere early next year and helps launch the fashion line of the next big designer. Building on the success of season one, the show will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of different head-to-toe styles - including the must-have hairstyles for each look. Michael Bublé returns with another star-studded holiday Christmas special airing on Monday, December 10th from 10-11 pm ET on NBC. The multi-Grammy Award winning singer is joined by guest stars Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, and fellow Canadian Carly Rae Jepsen, as well as Elmo, on songs including 'Jingle Bell Rock,' 'Let it Snow,' 'All I want for Christmas is You' and 'Winter Wonderland.' NBC has named TV host and fashion journalist Louise Roe (Glamour magazine, Fashion Editor-at-Large) as the new host of its reality competition series FASHION STAR for its second season.

Thursdays are about to get nerd-tastic. TBS has announced its new unscripted competition series King of the Nerds will air Thursdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), beginning Jan. 17. Hosted by actors Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds), King of the Nerds is the ultimate nerd-off. The series will follow 11 fierce competitors from across the nerd spectrum as they set out to win $100,000 and be crowned the greatest nerd of them all. TBS will pair King of the Nerds on Thursday nights with the network's chart-topping telecasts of The Big Bang Theory.

Electus and 5x5 Media are embarking on a seven-city U.S. casting call for TNT;s upcoming competition series The Hero, which will be headlined and executive-produced by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. The producers of The Hero are looking for competitors who display the physical, mental and emotional strength to participate in a battle of brains, brawn and morality, resulting in one winner being named the ultimate hero. Danny DeVito and Richard Griffiths are currently leading THE SUNSHINE BOYS in the West End, and according to the New York Times, the show's producers are 'considering a move to New York' in what would be DeVito's Broadway debut.

CMT has given the green light to DOG (working title), a new unscripted series that showcases Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Chapman's journey into the American heartland to help fellow bail bondsmen and bounty hunters struggling with their business of catching fugitives on the lam. CMT has ordered ten, one-hour episodes of the series from Ben Silverman's multimedia entertainment studio Electus. Dog and Beth will star in and executive-produce the series which is set to begin production in early 2013 and will premiere Spring/Summer 2013 on CMT.

TNT has given the greenlight to THE HERO (working title), a new reality-competition series that will set out to find the next great hero.

The Guthrie Theater currently presents The Sunshine Boys-acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and screenwriter Neil Simon's sidesplitting comedy. Directed by Gary Gisselman (Guthrie: A Christmas Carol, Lost in Yonkers), The Sunshine Boys features veteran actors Peter Michael Goetz and Raye Birk as Willie Clark and Al Lewis, respectively, a pair of crabby, retired vaudeville comedians persuaded to reunite after 11 years apart-despite the fact that they hate each other.
