Lyons & Pakchar to Release 'Double Sided Single' Featuring Adrienne Warren and Christine Dwyer, 10/15

On Oct 15th contemporary musical theatre songwriters Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar will release a ' Double Sided Single' from their anticipated album #LOVE. 'Kinda Over You' which features Adrienne Warren (Orange is The New Black, Bring It On) will come as a free download with The Lyons & Pakchar single Let Go, which features Christine Dwyer, who toured as Elphaba in Wicked.

ASP Opens ROMEO & JULIET Tonight

Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) will open its 10th Anniversary Season with a new production of Shakespeare's universal and timeless love story Romeo & Juliet tonight, October 2 - November 3, 2013

The concert is a benefit for ASPCA and will feature Derek Klena, Arielle Jacobs, Gabrielle Ruiz, Kennedy Caughell, Genny Lis Padilla, Margot B, Dana Costello, Cicily Daniels, Kristin Valphedes, Katie Hotz, Lacey Angerosa, Libby Servais, Jenna Leigh Green, Emily Esposito, Britney Coleman, Matt Shingledecker, Allison Rerecich , Geoffrey Kidwell, Jaime Cepero, Jose Sepulveda, Brandon Ellis, David Davila, Tatiana Lofton, Brian Charles Rooney, Jerey Plybum, Ben Roseberry, and Eric Restivo.

Carolines on Broadway, "America's Premier Comedy Nightclub," announces its all-star line-up of talent for the month of October 2013, highlighted by headliners Nick DiPaolo, from his Showtime stand-up special "Raw Nerve," October 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; Andrew Schulz from MTV2's "Guy Code" and "Guy Court," October 3 - 6; Artie Lange, host of Direct TV's "The Artie Lange Show," October 4 and 5; Aisha Tyler, from CBS-TV's "The Talk" and FX's "Archer," October 11 and 12; Gilbert Gottfried, from Sirius XM Radio's "The Howard Stern Show" and the film "The Aristocrats," on October 17; Darrell Hammond, from NBC's "Saturday Night Live," on October 18 and 19; Tommy Davidson, from FOX-TV'S "In Living Color," October 24 - 27; and Jeff Garlin, from HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and ABC's "The Goldbergs," on October 31 (through November 2).

ASP to Present ROMEO & JULIET, 10/2-11/3

Actors' Shakespeare Project (ASP) will open its 10th Anniversary Season with a new production of Shakespeare's universal and timeless love story Romeo & Juliet October 2 - November 3, 2013 (press performance October 5 at 8pm) at The Strand Theatre, 543 Columbia Road in Dorchester. Co-directed by ASP Resident Acting Company member Bobbie Steinbach and ASP Artistic Director Allyn Burrows, Romeo & Juliet will focus on fate of the two young lovers as it rests on the dramatic intersection of intransigence, revenge, and the clash of generations.

ONCE's Steve Kazee Headlines NYC EXPOSED at The Cutting Room Tonight

Tonight, July 29th at 10pm NYC will get Exposed. The Cutting Room will host a night of music and poetry exposing some of NYC's best unknown and established performers. The concert is a platform encouraging these artists to display their original work to the public without apology.

Cape May Stage Opens its 25th Anniversary Season 5/17 With HOW TO MAKE A ROPE SWING

Cape May Stage will present the world premiere of New Jersey playwright Shawn Fisher's How to Make a Rope Swing: the inaugural production of the Equity theatre's 25th anniversary season. Directed by Emmy nominee Roy Steinberg, How to Make a Rope Swing, is a dramatic story about long-buried secrets in a Jersey Shore town, and will feature guest performers Lynn Cohen and Barry Phillips along with Ben Rosenblatt. Winner of the Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award, How to Make a Rope Swing opens Friday, May 17 at 8 p.m. at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Bank and Lafayette Streets.
