NBC Announces Casting Calls For Second Season Of THE SING-OFF

NBC's renewed vocal-competition series 'The Sing-Off' will be traveling to four U.S. cities in May in search of the most talented a capella singing groups to compete for a chance at a Sony Music recording contract. Auditions will take place in New York City (May 22), Nashville (May 29), Chicago (May 31) and Los Angeles (June 5).

In a new episode of Site & Sound, Rufus Wainwright performs 'When Most I Wink,' one of three songs based on Shakespeare sonnets that appear on 'All Days are Nights: Songs for Lulu' (Decca Records). The song, like much of the album, is both mournful and hopeful. Based on Sonnet 43, it includes the memorable couplet 'All days are nights to see till I see thee/ And nights bright days when dreams do show thee me.'

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Names Michael Krajewski Principal Pops Conductor of SuperPops!

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra today announced today that its long-time conductor and collaborator, Michael Krajewski, has been named Principal Pops Conductor of the Orchestra's SuperPops! concert series. The three-year agreement will be effective beginning in September 2010, and will include a minimum of four programs per Pops season. Mr. Krajewski is the first to hold this title with the Orchestra.
