Preview performances begin June 28 for 'Heisenberg' at the Mark Taper Forum. Written by Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, 'Heisenberg' opens July 6 and will continue through August 6, 2017.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit musical School of Rock - The Musical will welcome five new cast members to the class on Monday, July 31, 2017. Rocking their way to Broadway will be Zachary Zwelling as 'Zack' the guitarist, Levi Buksbazen as 'Freddy' the drummer, John Allyn as 'Billy' the stylist, Gabrielle Greene as 'Shonelle' the back-up singer, and Cory Leventhal as 'James.'

Tony and Olivier Award-winning director Marianne Elliott has teamed up with producer Chris Harper to create an exciting new theatre company, Elliott & Harper Productions.

Highly acclaimed companies, Outhouse Theatre Co and Mad March Hare, join forces to present the Australian premiere of Dry Land, the riveting play by much-heralded newcomer Ruby Rae Spiegel. The play, that has created a huge stir amongst critics and audiences across the U.S. and London, will have its Australian premiere at the Kings Cross Theatre (KXT) from 28 July.

Producer Scott Rudin today announced that two-time Academy Award winning actress Glenda Jackson and three-time Emmy Award winner and 2017 Tony Award nominee Laurie Metcalf will star in the Broadway premiere of Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece Three Tall Women next spring, in a production directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello.  Beginning preview performances on Tuesday. February 27, 2018, Three Tall Women will have an official opening night on Thursday, March 29.

The Playwrights Realm, led by Katherine Kovner, Founding Artistic Director, and Roberta Pereira, Producing Director, celebrated its tenth anniversary with the annual Writers Block Party honoring Realm Board Member and award-winning playwright and actor, Anna Deavere Smith. The Playwrights Realm has announced its 2017-18 season productions: the world premieres of Michael Yates Crowley's The Rape of the Sabine Women, By Grace B. Matthias, directed by Tyne Rafaeli (August - September 2017), and Don Nguyen's Hello, From the Children of Planet Earth, directed by Jade King Carroll (February - March 2018).Both will be presented at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street project.

After premiering Off-Broadway 13 years ago, The Tricky Part, heads to the City of Brotherly Love for a  two-night limited engagement May 22-23. The true story of a young Martin Moran, The Tricky Part has been called "a translucent memoir of a play … shattering and affecting" by Ben Brantley of The New York Times. This production of The Tricky Part is part of Drexel University's Entertainment & Arts Management Program's Producing Live Entertainment class, led by Drexel professor and Broadway producer Brannon Wiles.
