Charlie Collier, CEO, FOX Entertainment, today will unveil the FOX primetime slate for the 2019-2020 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Upfront Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.
Fox has ordered four drama pilots to series for the 2019-2020 season. The lineup includes cop/serial killer drama Prodigal Son, starring Tom Payne and Michael Sheen; John Slattery's AI drama neXt; police drama Deputy, starring Stephen Dorff; and the Annie Weisman/Jason Katims sister drama, based on an Australian format.
The Grammy Museum will be hosting NOTES ON LIVING: ALL-STAR JAZZ WITH TALES BY BRIAN DOYLE May 14, 2019 as a joint benefit for WordTheatre in the Schools (WITS) and the Grammy Museum. WordTheatre's artistic director Cedering Fox will be producing and directing this evening of selected stories by award-winning author Brian Doyle, read by a star-studded cast, and accompanied by an all-star jazz band led by Starr Parodi. Farm Sanctuary, the organization dedicated to combating the abuses of factory farming and encouraging a new awareness and understanding about farm animals last night hosted their 2018 Gala “Farm Sanctuary On the Hudson” in New York City. The event, hosted by Bellamy Young honored Carol Leifer, Tracye McQuirter and Dr. Kristi Funk.

ABC's TGIT lineup once again nearly tied a “Big Bang”-led CBS for No. 1 on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (1.3/6 vs. 1.4/6), while defeating NBC by 86% (0.7/3) and Fox by 117% (0.6/2). Boasting strong delayed viewing for its Thursday dramas, ABC is projected to move ahead and win Thursday night, once Live + 7 Day Adult 18-49 ratings become available.

All proceeds from this once in a lifetime event will benefit The Actors Fund's programs and services.
According to Variety, Vanessa Williams has joined the cast of the upcoming ABC pilot FALSE PILOTS. The new drama welcomes Williams (Sondheim on Sondheim, The Trip to Bountiful, Ugly Betty) as a season regular. The cast also includes Bellamy Young, Kosha Patel, Kapil Talwalkar, and Shelley Hennig. A star-studded host committee, Academy Awards nominees and presenters, along with some of the most powerful industry influencers came together on March 3 rd, 2018 for the 16 th annual 'Night Before' party to benefit MPTF. Funds raised during the legendary evening will be used to support MPTF in providing social services and financial assistance to the entertainment community, as well as it's renowned retirement community and innovative programs for seniors and those who care for them. The organization impacts thousands of people each year who have committed their lives to a career in entertainment. The annual event raised $5 million last night, totaling just over $80 million in the event's history.
