Griffin Dunne stars in THE DISCOVERERS, which has won quite the collection of awards, including an Achievement in Acting Award for Dunne at the Sarasota International Film Festival, Emerging Actor Awards for Devon Graye and Madeleine Martin at the Genart Film Festival, and Best Film at the Kansas City Film and Oxford Film Festivals, as well as an Outstanding Actor Award for Dunne at the Sedona Film Festival, a Spark Breakthrough Award for Martin at the Riverrun International Film Festival, and Best Score at the Genart Film Festival.

Last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored Sam Mendes with the Jason Roberts Award for Excellence in Theatre. The criterion for this award is to have made an 'indelible impact on the theatre world.' The award was named after the founder of Roundabout and is given each year in remembrance of his own impact on the theatre world.

Signature Theatre is currently presenting the world premiere of THE OPEN HOUSE, by Will Eno and directed by Oliver Butler. The evening's one-of-a-kind all-star tribute, hosted by Emmy®, Grammy, Oscar and Tony® Award winner, Whoopi Goldberg, featured dozens of celebrities from Hollywood and Broadway in a one-night-only evening of musical selections drawn from Mr. Harris' career in theater, film and television, co-directed by Tony® Award winner and Drama League Alumnus Michael Mayer with Johanna McKeon, and co-produced by Roger T. Danforth and Trevor Tamashiro.
