Windy City Performs, Chicago's fastest-growing professional theatre and school, is pleased to announce its first Guest Artist-in-Residence this fall.

RLJE Films, a brand of RLJ Entertainment (NASDAQ: RLJE), has acquired all U.S. rights to the drama Galveston, which premiered at this year's SXSW Film Festival and has just been announced as part of the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Based on the novel “Galveston” by “True Detective” creator Nic Pizzolatto, the film was directed by Mélanie Laurent (Breathe), written by Jim Hammett and stars Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Elle Fanning (The Beguiled), Lili Reinhart (“Riverdale”), and Beau Bridges (“Homeland”). Tyler Davidson (Take Shelter) produced the film, with his company Low Spark Films providing sole financing and production services. RLJE Films plans to release Galveston in theaters this Fall.

Season Three of OWN's Hit Megachurch Drama GREENLEAF Set For Two-Night Premiere This August

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network announced today that the third season of its hit megachurch drama “Greenleaf,” from global content leader Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), award-winning writer/producer Craig Wright (“Lost,” “Six Feet Under”) and executive producers Clement Virgo (“The Book of Negros”), Kriss Turner Towner (“The Romanoffs,” “The Soul Man”) and Oprah Winfrey will premiere on Tuesday, August 28 and Wednesday, August 29 at 10 p.m. each night. Last season, “Greenleaf” was Wednesday night's #1 original cable series for African-American women and averaging over 2 million total viewers in Live+3.

From the Oscar® and Emmy® award-winning director and executive producer Steven Soderbergh (Erin Brockovich, Cinemax's The Knick), HBO's groundbreaking six-part limited series Mosaic arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on July 10, 2018. Out Front Theatre Company is closing out a spectacular second season with Del Shores' Sordid Lives. Actress and former Miss America, Lee Meriwether, was honored in Los Angeles on February 10th by Theatre West; the theatre company she helped found 55 years ago.  Aside from originating the role of  Catwomen on Batman in the 1960s, Meriwether starred in such series as Time Tunnel, Barnaby Jones,  All My Children, Star Trek and many more.

Emmy Award-Winning actor and comedian Leslie Jordan will present his one man show Exposed Thursday, January 18 at 7:30 pm. The performance will take place at New Stage Theatre.

MOSAIC, a six-part limited series from Steven Soderbergh (Oscar winner for 'Traffic'; Emmy winner for HBO's 'Behind The Candelabra'), explores the psychological underpinnings of love and murder in a small town, blurring the line between reality and memory. The series debuts MONDAY, JAN. 22 (8:00-8:50 p.m. ET/PT), followed by other episodes debuting subsequent nights - Jan. 23, 24 and 25 - at the same time, with the final two episodes debuting back-to-back on Friday, Jan. 26 at the same time.The show will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and affiliate portals.
