Paul Telegdy and Meredith Ahr have extended their contracts at NBC Entertainment with expanded roles in the ever-burgeoning alternative space.

NBC has set Tuesday, Aug. 23 as the premiere for its new comedy event series “Better Late Than Never” and Monday, July 11 for the season debut of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls.” Both shows will begin at 10 p.m.

Courteney Cox, Julianne Hough, Vanessa Hudgens, Nick Jonas and Lindsey Vonn are set to take on the great outdoors on the upcoming season of NBC's adventure series "Running Wild with Bear Grylls."
