MTC's Shining City Begins Previews April 20 and Opens May 9 at the Biltmore

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, artistic director; Barry Grove, executive producer) have announced that the American premiere of Conor McPherson's Shining City at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street) will open Tuesday, May 9 at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street). Previews for Shining City will begin Thursday, April 20.

BASED ON A TOTALLY TRUE STORY Announces Full Casting

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) is pleased to announce full casting for the upcoming the world premiere production of Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa's BASED ON A TOTALLY TRUE STORY. Directed by Michael Bush, the production begins previews on March 23 and opens on April 11 at New York City Center - Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

John Patrick Shanley's DEFIANCE Announces Full Cast

The cast will feature (in alphabetical order): Chris Bauer (Chaplin White), Stephen Lang (Colonel Littlefield), Trevor Long (Gunney), Margaret Colin (Margaret Littlefield), Jeremy Strong (Private Evan Davis), and Chris Chalk (Captain Lee King).

Brían F. O'Byrne Joins Cast of Shining City, Previews Begin April 13, Opens May 3

Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer) is pleased to announce that Tony Awardâ winner Brían F. O'Byrne will join Oliver Platt in Conor McPherson's SHINING CITY at the Biltmore Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The production will be directed by Tony Award® winner Robert Falls.

DOUBT Breaks House Record For 8th Time

DOUBT has broken the house record at the Walter Kerr Theatre for the eighth time, grossing $603,566 for nine performances for the week of December 26-January 1. DOUBT had previously set a record of $550,109 for the week of July 11-17, 2005.

Brian Stokes Mitchell and Donna McKechnie Headline MTC Benefit January 23

MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB will present its annual Winter Benefit, 'An Intimate Night,' an evening of cocktails and dinner followed by a special one-night-only cabaret-style show featuring Tony Award winning Broadway stars, Donna McKechnie and Brian Stokes Mitchell.
