After the critical success of its recent Lucille Lortel Award winning Off-Broadway production of Martin Moran's All the Rage (produced with piece by piece productions), acclaimed new play company Rising Phoenix Repertory presents the world premiere of RPR Company Member Sarah Shaefer's new play F**king Immaculate. Building on the company's successful downtown site-specific play series Cino Nights, Rising Phoenix Rep is attempting to grow and expand on its innovative development/production process for new plays, building in a longer rehearsal period and focusing on an even more intimate and immersive experience for artists and audiences alike. The plays will be staged in an Upper West Side apartment to be disclosed to patrons who make reservations in advance. Seating is strictly limited to ten people per night.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, True Love Productions and The Theatre @ Boston Court have announced that the New York Premiere of Everything You Touch, written by Sheila Callaghan and directed by Jessica Kubzansky, will begin previews Wednesday, January 28 at 8pm at the Cherry Lane Theatre, 38 Commerce Street. The official opening night is set for Thursday, February 12 at 7pm. Everything You Touch is scheduled to run through Sunday, March 29, 2015.

Certain to become an annual holiday tradition for Houston theatre go-ers, Ho Ho Humbug opens tonight, December 5th and runs through December 24th at Stark Naked's STUDIO 101. The play is recommended for audiences aged 13 and older.

Paprika Productions has announced that it will present the New York premiere of BURQ OFF!, a gutsy autobiographical one-woman show written and performed by Nadia Parvez Manzoor that humorously and insightfully navigates the complexities of life as a modern Muslim Woman in the West. Previews begin January 7, with an official opening on January 10. After a run this summer in the NY International Fringe Festival, writer/performer Terri Mateer is set to present her humorous, inspiring and thought-provoking solo show 'a kind shot' tonight, November 18 at 7pm at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe (236 East 3rd Street).

Rising Phoenix Repertory and Weathervane Productions have announced that they have commissioned new plays from three female playwrights--Charlotte Miller, Jessica Dickey, and Sarah Shaefer--and that the plays will each be produced over the next two seasons.

These 7 plays were chosen from a pool of over 40 works that were featured this summer in Core's 3rd annual Summer Reading Series.

Featuring four of Broadway's brightest stars, 'Seasons of Broadway' is an evening of songs and stories celebrating some of the greatest shows to ever hit the streets of New York City. The show will play a three-city engagement, beginning at the Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts (Scottsdale, AZ) on November 7th, followed by Carmel by the Sea (Carmel, CA) on November 8th, and Lone Tree Arts Center (Lone Tree, CO) on November 9th.

ARIELLE JACOBS who appeared on Broadway and in the touring company of IN THE HEIGHTS and STACIA FERNANDEZ, currently appearing on Broadway in MAMMA MIA!, have joined the cast of BARCELONA in the roles of 'Julianna' and 'Kathryn'.
