By popular demand, Frank Strausser's new comedy PSYCHO THERAPY will resume performances Off-Broadway at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) beginning April 8 and running through May 26, it has been announced by the show's producer, Barbara Ligeti and Wishing Well Productions.

On Sunday, November 6, 2011, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), now celebrating its 20th year, will host the 2011 TRU Love Benefit at Caroline's on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 49th and 50th ). The Benefit was created to honor those who have lent standout service to the theatrical community. This year's award recipients are producer Bruce Lazarus; Ben Cameron and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation; and Lou Rodgers of Golden Fleece Limited.

Pulitzer Prize winning author and journalist William Kennedy was the guest of honor at a special toast at popular Theater District eatery, Trattoria Dopo Teatro. Longtime friend and noted film and theater producer Barbara Ligeti along with Trattoria Dopo Teatro owners architect Emilio Barletta & Giuseppe Manica hosted the reception to salute the author on the release of his eagerly anticipated new novel, 'Chango's Beads and Two Toned Shoes'.

The Development Wing which has dedicated itself to nurturing new musicals via partnerships with regional not for profit theaters held an exclusive, intimate one-night-only benefit concert on Sunday July 24 featuring Broadway stars singing songs form three new musicals at the historic Tewksbury, New Jersey home of Cherie King. Composer, lyricist and book writer, Jonathan Brielle, Artistic Director of The Development Wing served as both master of ceremonies and performer as he authored the three musicals presented that evening.
