The cast of the upcoming West End production LET IT BE will open the BBC Proms in the Park 2012, playing a 30-minute set of Beatles hits in Hyde Park on 8 September 2012.

The annual Helpmann Awards® recognise distinguished artistic achievement and excellence in the many disciplines of Australia's vibrant live performance sectors, including musical theatre, contemporary music, comedy, opera, classical music, theatre, dance and physical theatre. The Helpmann Awards also incorporates the JC Williamson Award for outstanding contribution to the Australian live performance industry.

Michael Brenner, producer and impresario, founder and managing partner of the Mannheim based BB Promotion GmbH, died in the early hours of Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the age of 59. He and his much-loved wife were on a bicycle tour when he was hit by a motorbike. He never recovered from his injuries.

Set design is by Valeria Ambrosio, with costume design by Cecilia Monti and lighting design by Ariel Del Mastro. The choreographer is Mora Godoy and the director is Omar Pacheco. The Martha Graham Dance Company will honor Paul Szilard at their Gala on Thursday, May 14th, 2009 at 7:00 pm during their special engagement week at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at NYU, 566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square South. Jacques D'Amboise will be introducing Mr. Szilard.
