Rattlestick Playwrights Theater Artistic Director David Van Asselt and Managing Director Brian Long have announced that Lucy Thurber's The Hill Town Plays, a cycle of five plays--Scarcity, Ashville, Where We're Born, Killers and Other Family, and Stay--will begin previews Wednesday, August 14, 2013. The official opening night for all five plays is Thursday, September 5, 2013; the closing date is Saturday, September 28, 2013.

The reading will star Celia Keenan-Bolger as 'Kate Quin,' Ari Graynor as 'Samantha Stewart,' Merritt Wever as 'Holly Caplan,' Lisa Joyce as 'Muffet DiNicola,' Aya Cash as 'Rita Altabel,' Lisa Kron as 'Mrs. Plumm,' Jenni Barber as 'Susie Friend,' Tracee Chimoas 'Carter,' and Cristin Milioti as 'Leilah,' with Byron Jennings as 'The Male Voice' andMelissa Ross as 'Narrator/ Stage Directions'.

ARI GRAYNOR, last seen on Broadway this season in The Performers, has joined the cast of the 35th anniversary benefit reading of Wendy Wasserstein's acclaimed play UNCOMMON WOMEN AND OTHERS on May 13th, directed by Obie Award Winner Leigh Silverman.

Trip Cullman (LONELY I'M NOT) will direct.

According to Deadline.com, Aya Cash along with Kevin Bigley and Gil Ozeri will join the previously cast Allison Janney and Tony Shalhoub in the new NBC pilot 'Friday Night Dinner'. Greg Daniels' pilot is based on the UK comedy of the same name.
