Lyric Opera of Chicago will hold auditions for solo dancers with strong technique and significant stage experience for its upcoming production of La traviata by Giuseppe Verdi on Monday, June 18, 2018. The production will be staged by critically acclaimed director Arin Arbus with choreography by Austin McCormick, artistic director and founder of COMPANY XIV. August Tye is the ballet mistress.

Company XIV has won the 11th Annual Goldstar National Nutcracker Award, the only award which honors live performances of the seasonal classic. As winner of the audience-favorite competition, Company XIV takes home 'The Nutty' statuette, a cash prize for its education/accessibility programs, and is named the best-loved Nutcracker in the U.S. for 2017.
