Roundabout Theatre Company has confirmed complete casting for the 50th Anniversary Season Benefit Reading of THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart starring Nathan Lane. Joining the celebrated cast are Austin Durant ('Expressman, Technician, Police Officer'), Peter Kim ('Sandy'), Mark Linn-Baker ('Dr. Bradley'), Ned Noyes ('Michaelson/Westcott/Expressman'), Harrison Unger ('Stage Directions'), Richard Poe ('Mr. Stanley'), Lee Wilkof ('Banjo') and Mary Louise Wilson ('Harriet Stanley'). Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director Scott Ellis will direct this one-night only reading.

Just last night, the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust hosted the 2015 Steinberg Playwright Awards honoring Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Dominique Morisseau at Lincoln Center Theater's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65th Street, New York, NY 10023). The event featured readings byJocelyn Bioh, Marc Damon Johnson, Jason Dirden, Austin Durant, Dominique Fishback, Lynda Gravatt, Nikiya Mathis, Chris Myers, Carra Patterson, Will Rogers, Michele Shay and Brian Tyree Henry.

Celebrating eleven years and thousands of nominees, the New York Innovative Theatre awards took place at Mason Hall at Baruch Performing Arts Center.

Things can get a little crazy backstage in a long-running show. And I can say with confidence that we have gone round the bend at the Longacre. This latest #ImASycamore post is about just that. Somewhere in the middle of act two, we discovered that some fresh produce had been brought in by stage management. So Flynn Earl Jones and Austin Durant decided to put it to use. Enjoy!

To carry over the holiday spirit into the new year, cast members from the You Can't Take It With You Pulitzer Prize-winning revival by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman will be volunteering their time and working as a group at God's Love We Deliver. The cast will be helping prepare meals in the kitchen on Tuesday, January 20th for a three-hour afternoon shift.
