Fiddlehead Theatre Company will proudly premiere Andrew Lippa's A Little Princess as their first production as the resident company at Boston's historic Strand Theatre (543 Columbia Road, Dorchester, MA) from November 21 -December 8, 2013. The run will feature a post-show talkback with Tony-Nominated composer Andrew Lippa on Friday, November 29th, hosted by WGBH Executive Arts Editor Jared Bowen. Bridge Repertory Theater opens its first full season, in collaboration with Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company of NYC, with an ambitious production of Stephen Jeffreys' play about the life of 17th century poet John Wilmot. The complex story is overweight, but the acting is topnotch, as are the costumes and staging. Bridge Rep remains a theater company to watch.

The free event will be held tonight, August 21st at 7:00PM at DCR's Hatch Shell on the Esplanade.

Fiddlehead Theatre Company, in collaboration with the American Civil Liberties Union, with the support of Mayor Thomas M. Menino, City of Boston, present a new production of the Tony Award-winning musical RAGTIME. The production is currently running through October 7, 2012 at Boston's Historic Strand Theatre, and aims to celebrate the work of the ACLU, and in particular keep issues of personal liberty at the forefront of people's minds during the upcoming elections.
