NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 will host an elegant and enticing masquerade ball for its Halloween performance tonight, October 31st at 8pm, featuring a costume contest and an exclusive after-party at Kazino (45th Street between Times Square and 8th Avenue).

Goodman Theatre announces the complete line-up for its 2013 New Stages festival, this year celebrating Latino playwrights. Three staged readings-The Rooster Room by Pulitzer Prize winner Quiara Alegria Hudes, Feathers and Teeth by Charise Castro Smith and Another Word for Beauty by Jose Rivera-complement the previously-announced two fully-staged workshop productions, The Upstairs Concierge by Pulitzer Prize finalist Kristoffer Diaz and The Solid Sand Below by former Goodman Theatre Playwrights Unit member Martin Zimmerman.

Award-winning Pipeline Theatre Company in association with Judson Arts presents the World Premiere of BYUIOO, a musical with book, music and lyrics by Nate Weida. This folk gospel musical, presented in an entirely made-up language, will be directed by Andrew Neisler (Pipeline's acclaimed hit Clown Bar) featuring a cast of sixteen. Previews begin October 26 at The Gym at Judson with opening slated for October 31.

Ghostlight Records has announced the release of the original cast recording of Dave Malloy's hit electropop operaNATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812. The complete 111 minute recording of the through-sung score will be available from digital outlets today, October 29 and the deluxe two-CD set will be in stores on December 10. A highlights version, featuring special selections from the acclaimed work, will also be available in digital format on October 29.

Colt Coeur's Play Hotel series presents staged readings of a boy put this girl in a cage with a dog and the dog killed the girl by Clare Barron, directed by Stella Powell-Jones & Umma Lappa Soon by Claire Kiechel, directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt. Today, October 28th, 6pm (Barron play) & 8pm (Kiechel play). Guests are welcome to attend one or both readings. There will be a reception between readings. Bernie B. Abingdon Theatre Company launches its 21st Season with FIX ME, JESUS by Helen Sneed, directed by Sam Pinkleton, with previews set to begin Friday, November 1, prior to an official press opening November 10 in Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex's Dorothy Streslin Theatre (312 West 36th Street). Performances run through Sunday, November 24.

Paper Mill Playhouse will continue its 75th Anniversary Season with the classic Charles Dickens musical Oliver!, with a holiday 'twist' for the entire family. With a book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart, Oliver! will be directed by Paper Mill Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Mark S. Hoebee with original choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. Oliver! will feature David Garrison (Fagin), best known for his role as Steve Rhoades on the hit television series Married...with Children, Betsy Morgan (Nancy), John Treacy Egan (Mr. Bumble), Jose Llana (Bill Sikes), David Hess (Mr. Brownlow), Ethan Haberfield (Artful Dodger) and introducing Tyler Moran as Oliver. Oliver! will also feature 16 local boys from across the state of New Jersey who auditioned from a pool of over 200. Oliver! will play the Millburn, New Jersey theater from November 21 through December 29. The official press opening night is Sunday, December 1, 2013, at 7:00pm.

This special benefit performance will include an introduction by the Nomi community, a talk back with the cast and creative team of Byuioo, and a wine reception.

Ars Nova has announced an additional week for the world premiere production of Eager to Lose. Originally set to play a limited Off-Broadway engagement through November 2, Eager to Lose will now play through Saturday, November 9. Previews began October 9. The show celebrated its Official Opening Night at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street) on Tuesday, October 22.

The Kitchen welcomes back Neal Medlyn for the world premiere of King, the seventh and final work in his series of performance pieces built around pop stars. With King, Medlyn turns his attention to the pop star par excellence: Michael Jackson.
