Kenny Mellman and More to Tribute Amy Winehouse in THE MEETING at Joe's Pub, 9/14

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, September 14 at 9:30 PM for the launch of its landmark 6th season. The September show will include a tribute to the beloved soul diva Amy Winehouse, featuring special guests Kenny Mellman, Jessica Vosk, Xavier Rice and Mark Aaron James. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Montego Glover and More to Star in The Old Globe's THE ROYALE; Cast & Creatives Set!

The Old Globe today announced the full cast and creative team for Marco Ramirez's ('Orange is the New Black,' 'Sons of Anarchy') wildly theatrical new play The Royale, directed by two-time Obie Award-winning and Drama Desk Award-nominated Rachel Chavkin. Founding Artistic Director of New York's the TEAM, Chavkin most recently won accolades for Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Post Critics's Picks, and Top Ten of 2012 and 2013). The Royale will run October 4 to November 2 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run October 4 - 8. Opening night is Thursday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m.

Premier development hub and acclaimed new work producer Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Renee Blinkwolt, Managing Director) proudly presents the world premiere of Jacuzzi, a new play by Ars Nova's Company-in-Residence The Debate Society, written by Hannah Bos and Paul Thureen and directed by Obie Award-winner Oliver Butler. Tickets are on sale today, September 3. Tickets are regularly $35, but a special ticket initiative aimed at matching Ars Nova's innovative emerging artists with diverse, adventurous audiences, makes $15 tickets for the first week of performances and $25 tickets for the second week of performances available. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated September 30 - November 1 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street). Official Opening Night is Monday, October 13.

Annaleigh Ashford, Matt Doyle & More to Join Will Van Dyke at 54 Below in November

Tony Award-nominee Annaleigh Ashford and star of Book Of Mormon and War Horse, Matt Doyle will headline "Chasing The Day" a new song cycle by songwriter and Kinky Boots Associate Music Director Will Van Dyke. They will also be joined by If/Then star Tamika Sonja Lawrence and Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal) at 54 Below on Monday, November 17, 2014. The four actors will play two shows on November 17th (7:00 PM & 9:30 PM), with direction by Kerry Whigham and musical direction by Dominick Amendum. Originally released as an album on Sh-K-Boom Records in October 2010, Van Dyke's Chasing the Day has been reimagined as a song cycle about breaking up, breaking down, and breaking through, and will soon be available for theatrical licensing. Tickets for Chasing The Day at 54 Below range from $30-$65, and are on sale now at www.54below.com.

Kathryn Rossetter, who appeared on Broadway opposite Dustin Hoffman in Death Of a Salesman and is currently head of the MFA Acting Program at the New School for Drama, will join Adam LeFevre (Broadway's Footloose, Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls) in the World Premiere of MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, an absurdist comedy by Sari Caine. Inspired by Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the play was a PlayPenn 2013 semi-finalist and short-listed for both the 24/7 (UK) and the Ronald Duncan Award (UK). It is produced by Slightly Altered States Theater Company and directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Previews begin September 12 at The Flea Theater with opening slated for Monday, September 22.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced additional casting for The Real Thing, starring Ewan McGregor as 'Henry,' Maggie Gyllenhaal as 'Annie,' Cynthia Nixon as 'Charlotte' and Josh Hamilton as 'Max.' Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning play The Real Thing, directed by Sam Gold begins preview performances on Thursday, October 2, 2014 and opens officially on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42ndStreet).
