Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment are thrilled to announce, with Broadway In Chicago that Billy Elliot the Musical, currently playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph), is extending its run in Chicago by fifteen weeks through October 24, 2010.

Billy Elliot the Musical's Chicago opening night will take place April 11th. In addition, the producers, along with Broadway In Chicago, are excited to announce that $25 rush seats will be available for every performance.

The downtown Theatre District is filled with activity surrounding Billy Elliot in the coming weeks with rehearsals that began January 11 in Chicago and the production moving into the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre.

Randolph St.). Opening night is Sunday, April 11, 2010. The cast includes John Peter (J.P.) Viernes who joins the previously announced actors Tommy Batchelor, Giuseppe Bausilio and Cesar Corrales in the role of ‘Billy'.
