A slew of Broadway talent joined in the 32nd annual Kennedy Center Honors on December 6th to honor acclaimed Broadway producer, Mel Brooks. The group included Gary Beach, Matthew Broderick, Richard Kind, Jane Krakowski, Matthew Morrison, Frank Langella and Martin Short. Brooks was honored as a winner of the 2009 Kennedy Center Honors for his contributions to both stage and screen.

Recipients to be honored at the 32nd annual national celebration of the arts are: writer, composer, actor, director, and producer Mel Brooks; pianist and composer Dave Brubeck; opera singer Grace Bumbry; actor, director, and producer Robert De Niro; and singer and songwriter Bruce Springsteen.

Last night, December 2, New York City residents and tourists enjoyed the 12th annual 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center,' featuring the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree, and star-studded talent performances. Co-hosted by NBC stars Jane Krakowski ('30 Rock') and Zachary Levi ('Chuck') and broadcast in high definition on NBC at 8pm EST, the star-studded tree lighting celebration will featured stars such as Michael Buble and Aretha Franklin, with a special appearance by Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
