Zach Theatre's production of the Broadway-bound ONE NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN has now extended thru Sunday, August 25th. ONE NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN is a full-on concert experience and musical journey into the life and inspirations of one of rock 'n' roll's greatest legends.

Not only does Kreis have four studio albums, a live album, and an album of demos under his belt, but he also has a shiny Tony Award somewhere at home. Of course, Kreis is too humble to let it all go to his head. In fact, Kreis needs to be reminded to look back some times to recognize his major successes. Kreis just released his newest studio album IMAGINE PARADISE, and to positive reception. The album founded by Kickstarter allowed Kreis to channel fan support to make music after a four-year hiatus.

Electric Youth Debuts In England And France On 10th European Concert Tour

Electric Youth (EY), the international touring ensemble of singer-dancers trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA), debuts in England and France this summer. EY departs August 5 for two weeks abroad, marking the group's 10th European concert tour. Performance venues include Disneyland Paris and Barfleur's Courtyard Les Amuseurs, along the coast of Normandy, as well as theatres in Bristol, London, Wimborne and Windsor. The group also will enjoy guided historical tours in many of the regions visited.

SWISSTED Exhibition Opening & Book Party at L'Apicio Set for Today

Tonight, July 23, 2013, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, Fourth Arts Block (FABnyc), Epicurean Group, and McNally Jackson Books will host a reception and book party at L'Apicio to celebrate an outdoor installation of designs from Mike Joyce's book SWISSTED: Vintage Rock Posters Remixed and Reimagined. The reception will include light snacks from L'Apicio and a selection of specialty cocktails for $5 to benefit the public art project. Books will be available from McNally Jackson; all book purchases will include a free specialty cocktail. Joyce will be onsite for book signing and mingling.
