LA Opera's next Digital Short, Gallup (Na'nízhoozhí), will premiere online on May 28. Tune in to watch at 2 PM!

The Met has announced themed lineups for two weeks of its Nightly Met Opera Streams, the company’s ongoing series of encore Live in HD presentations and classic telecasts streamed on its website during the Covid-19 closure.

Wagnerians in Concert features sopranos Christine Goerke and Elza van den Heever, tenor Andreas Schager, and baritone Michael Volle, live from the Hessisches Staatstheater, in Wiesbaden, Germany, on May 8. Three Divas showcases sopranos Ailyn Pérez and Nadine Sierra and mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, live from the Opéra Royal-Château de Versailles, in France, on May 22. Both concerts will be streamed live on the Met's website at 1pm EST/7pm CET, and will then be available on demand for 14 days.

​LA Opera's next Digital Short, Gallup (Na'nízhoozhí), will premiere online on May 28. Created by filmmaker Blackhorse Lowe and filmed in the city of Gallup, New Mexico—called Na'nízhoozhí in the Navajo language and known as the ceremonial capital of Native America—the short features newly commissioned music from composer Matthew Aucoin.

Houston Grand Opera will present its 2021-22 season live and in person after a year of reimagining the artform in a virtual format through the 2020-21 HGO Digital season.

The New York Choral Society is celebrating their virtual Spring season on a high note on May 11, 2021 with a Gala of special musical  guests and the world premiere of Jennifer Higdon’s Invitation to Love.

Sara Mearns recently partnered with Seattle Dance Collective on the new dance film Gallop Apace. Starring Mearns, the film interprets Shakespeare's 'Gallop Apace' monologue from Romeo and Juliet through movement, navigating Juliet's emotional transformation from young girl to woman.

Seattle Dance Collective has announced the release of GALLOP APACE, a compelling new work featuring New York City Ballet Principal Dancer Sara Mearns, with choreography by Bobbi Jene Smith and Or Schraiber, and cinematography by Trevor Tweeten. Gallop Apace is set to premiere on April 15 and will be available for streaming from April 15-22, 2021.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, has announced Daytime Pop Up Performances from April 2-19, 2021, at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. Performances will include violinist Jennifer Koh to drag opera performer Jasmine Rice LaBeija, musicians from The Juilliard School and CalArts and more.

The Drama League has just announced the 2021 Nominees and Special Recognition Honorees for The 87th Annual Drama League Awards. Keeping in the tradition of honoring the outstanding accomplishments of the theatrical community, as they have since 1935, this year the organization has established five unique categories to honor the extraordinary achievements of artists across the nation who created digital and socially-distanced theatrical productions during this challenging year of suspension for live arts.
