Transport Group (TG), the winner of a special 2007 Drama Desk Award and 2007 and 2010 OBIE Awards, will present the New York premiere of See Rock City & Other Destinations, music by Brad Alexander; book and lyrics by Adam Mathias; directed by Artistic Director Jack Cummings III (two-time Drama Desk Award nominee for Outstanding Director for TG's The Audience and The Boys in the Band), beginning Saturday, July 17, and opening Sunday, July 25, at 7pm at The Duke on 42nd Street, a New 42nd Street® project, 229 West 42nd Street.

Award-winning Broadway actresses Liz Callaway and Karen Mason have announced that they will join the lineup for 'Free to Dream', an evening devoted to the songs of Katsaros and Schermerhorn, August 2 at Joe's Pub. The program, which will have two performances at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM, showcases the people and places that make up the fabric of America; from country, rock and pop, to swing and the blues. Previously announced artists include Rent star Anthony Rapp and Avenue Q's John Tartaglia and Stephanie D'Abruzzo. Proceeds from Free to Dream benefit The New York Pops' education programs, which bring music to thousands of public schoolchildren across the five boroughs of New York City. The evening will be hosted by The New York Pops Music Director Steven Reineke, and will feature the Camp Broadway Kids, as well as the voice of Willard Scott as ‘DJ Sam'.

9Thirty Theatre Company (Jeff Burroughs, Artistic Director) announces 'THE BIRDS' TO SAVE BIRDS, a benefit to support one of the country's first eco theatres and Tri-State Birds, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and rehabilitating birds in the Gulf of Mexico. The benefit will take place from 7PM-11PM on July 25th at The Foundry.

In 2006, Broadway star Anthony Rapp published his memoir, Without You, covering everything from his childhood, to the creation of Rent, to the loss of Rent's mastermind, Jonathan Larson. Napa Valley Opera House (1030 Main St., Napa) announces its schedule for Fall 2010, which includes 'Adam (Pascal) and Anthony (Rapp) Live' on November 20th. Ticket sales for members begin on July 12th while public sales begin on the 19th. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announces the 11 musicals that have been invited by NYMF to be presented with the 12 previously announced Next Link Project productions.
