THE WATER DREAM is a new musical featuring whale puppets and an aquarium of real water. It's the story of an overly critical mythologist who, through facing loss and falling in love, becomes an artist: the author of an awe-inspiring myth.

On March 7, The 24 Hour Company teamed with the Exchange to produce The 24 Hour Musicals at The Gramercy Theatre. Four brand new musicals were written, cast, rehearsed and performed in a single day, featuring an star-studded line up of Broadway performers, composers, writers, directors, choreographers and musical directors. March comes in like a lion for the 5th Smash Year of The Broadway Beauty Pageant! This not-to-be-miss event will be on Monday, March 21st, 2011 at 8:00 PM, benefiting The Ali Forney Center, NYC's primary housing resource for homeless LGBT youth.

On the evening of Saturday, January 29, two of the original stars of Jonathan Larsen's Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical RENT, Adam Pascal (Roger) and Anthony Rapp (Mark), shared a double-bill concert at the Barclay Theatre in Irvine, California. The concert was part of a concert tour which they launched earlier this month at Town Hall in New York. Like that show, each artist performed their own separate unique solo set before coming together at the end of the second act to perform several popular tunes from the Tony-winning musical that helped propel their status as bona fide stage stars. Fans were surely not disappointed.

Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, co-stars of the original Broadway and London productions of Rent (as well as the film) perform an electric and acoustic concert with music from Spring Awakening and Aida, fresh interpretations of Sondheim songs, and other familiar Broadway music, along with a mix of pop and original songs. Together, they'll share stories about working on Jonathan Larsen's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical and offer duets from Rent as performed in the Broadway production and film.

Anthony Rapp (Rent) will make a guest appearance during Robi Hager's (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) Joe's Pub concert Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at 9:30PM.
