Fall In Love With Local Artists In Gretna Theatre's SHE LOVES ME

Gretna Theatre presents the Broadway classic musical comedy, She Loves Me. Inspiring the popular romantic movie You've Got Mail, She Loves Me tells the story of Amalia (Hanley Smith) and Georg (William Connell), co-workers in a department store who don't see eye to eye and constantly bump heads on the job. Little do they know the anonymous pen pals they have both been falling for happen to be each other! Featuring songs like 'Tonight at Eight' and the favorite 'Vanilla Ice Cream.' Direct from a hugely successful Broadway revival, this sweeping romantic Tony-Award winning musical marks the biggest production of Gretna's 2018 season.

The 30th Toronto Fringe Festival Launches Itself Into The Next 30 Years With Record-Breaking Sales

The 2018 Toronto Fringe Festival boasts the highest ever ticket revenue, smashing the new records set during the 2017 festival. 66,301 tickets were issued to theatre-loving patrons over the 12-day festival. As Fringe returns 100% of net box office revenue, this means that $531,293.50 is going straight into the pockets of the artists. Ticket prices were raised this year from $10 + services fees to $11 + service fees, which contributed to the increase in revenue.

PBS Announces Fall 2018 Primetime Schedule

PBS today announced its fall 2018 schedule lineup, anchored by THE GREAT AMERICAN READ (Tuesdays, September 11- October 23). Exploring the power, passion and joy of reading, the series is hosted by Meredith Vieira and features reflections from everyday Americans as well as notables. Margaret Atwood, Lauren Graham, John Irving, Bill T. Jones, Devon Kennard, Gayle King, Diane Lane, George R.R. Martin and many more reflect on their favorite books. The series will culminate with the results of the first-ever national vote for “America's Best-Loved Novel.”

The Croswell Opera House's 2018 season continues this month with its production of SHE LOVES ME, a romantic comedy musical that has inspired many adaptations including the movie You've Got Mail.

Julia Garner and Juno Temple Join Cast of Bravo Media's DIRTY JOHN

Julia Garner ('Ozark') and Juno Temple ('Vinyl,' 'Wonder Wheel,' 'Black Mass') have joined the cast of Bravo Media's 'Dirty John' as the daughters of Debra Newell (Connie Britton), who are both skeptical about their mother's relationship with John Meehan (Eric Bana). Joining the previously announced Jean Smart who will play Debra's mother Arlane, Garner will star as Terra Newell, while Temple will star as Veronica Newell. The scripted anthology series, based on the articles and breakout true crime podcast of the same name from Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, tells the true story of how Debra's romance with the charismatic John Meehan spiraled into secrets, denial and manipulation.
