Palm Beach Dramaworks Presents Tennessee Williams' A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire, the Pulitzer Prize-winner that is on virtually every critic's short list of greatest American plays, opens Palm Beach Dramaworks' 2019-2020 season on Friday, October 11 (8pm) at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre. Performances continue through November 3, with specially priced previews on October 9 and 10 (7:30pm). J. Barry Lewis directs.

Everyman Theatre traveled to Ireland for their first show of the 2018-2019 season, producing the Brian Friel work DANCING AT LUGHNASA. The piece revolves around a family living in 1930s Ireland, and the memories of one little boy and one particular summer. The cast, which included many members of the repertory company of Everyman and a few new additions are top-notch. They presented a work that was both beautiful and heartbreaking.

Passage Theatre Wins 2015 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play

Passage Theatre (June Ballinger, Artistic Director; Damion A. Parran, Managing Director), Trenton's only professional theater, won the 2015 Barrymore Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Play for last season's runaway hit Little Rock. The awards, which honor excellence in theatre, was presented on November 2, by Theatre Philadelphia.

Everyman Theatre Announces ASL-Interpreted Performances of TRIBES

Everyman Theatre has announced that it will be performing five ASL-interpreted performances of Nina Raine's award-winning play Tribes. The theatre company will also be offering captioned performances for the first time. There will be two captioned performances during the run of the show. The Baltimore premiere is a hysterical and touching coming-of-age story about a young deaf man and his struggle for self-identity. The production will begin performances on May 27th (its Pay What You Can Performance) and will run through June 22nd.
