The Hollywood Awards, presented by Starz, announced today that the 15th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala ceremony, honoring excellence in motion pictures, both in front of and behind the camera, will take place on Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills. Through the years, the Hollywood Awards Gala has become a bellwether for the Oscars and it has become known as the first event that launches the awards season. 'The New York Times' says that the Hollywood Awards Gala is the first mandatory stop in the awards season. In the last 8 years, a total of 73 Oscar nominations and 27 Oscars were given to the nominees and honorees of the Hollywood Awards.

Today we are continuing the male-centric portion of our ongoing series of interviews with the stars of Lifetime's DROP DEAD DIVA with the boss of the legal practice on the show and the main love interest for Kate Levering's character, Kim: the affable and charming stage and screen star Josh Stamberg. In addition to dishing all about Season 3 of DROP DEAD DIVA and the future for Parker, Kim and company at the legal firm, Stamberg and I also discuss many of the various guest stars on the show this season and seasons past - Liza Minnelli, Sharon Lawrence and Faith Prince included - as well as how he sees Parker himself, his own insights into the complex character and what he feels the future holds for his relationships on the show - Kim, Jane and beyond. Good news keeps rolling in for A.C.T. Young Conservatory (YC) alumnus and Glee star Darren Criss. He is preparing to make his Broadway debut in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, taking over the role of J. Pierrepont Finch from Daniel Radcliffe (of the Harry Potter films) for a limited three-week engagement, January 3-22, 2012. Criss was also just announced as part of the cast for the upcoming movie Imogene (alongside A.C.T. Master of Fine Arts Program graduates Annette Bening and Christopher Fitzgerald), in which he will make his big screen debut.

According to Variety, the Kristen Wiig starring 'Imogene' has two new additions to its cast: June Diane Raphael and Natasha Lyonne.
